Our Story

established in 1955

Growth, diversity, quality customer service and high ethical standards have always been an integral and consistent part of Century 21 Dairyland Realty team. And in 2019 we took a giant leap to expand that success. Kelly moved into the Broker/Owner role, she took on a partner, Dave Brandner and they brought on several new realtors which allowed them to not only specialize, but diversify, their service and continue their mission of remaining the leader in real estate in north-central Wisconsin.

While our names, agents, signs, offices, logos & colors have changed over the years, our core values have remained the same and have been carefully taught and passed down. The future is uncertain but we know that our dedication to the communities we serve will never change. At Century 21 we are always looking for new and innovative ways to meet the needs of our customers. We continue to remain proactive and progressive educating our clients and helping them through every step of their buying or selling journey. We like to think that we meet people where they are at and value the opportunity to educate and inspire along the way.

Our realtors truly are relentless in the pursuit of exceeding your expectations. We don’t want you to feel like you settled for average on one of the largest purchase or selling experiences of your life. We encourage you to discover the Century 21 Dairyland difference for yourself and be a part of a Century Worth of Experience.

From the very beginning, in 1955, Dairyland Realty has done business differently! We have always tried hard to stay ahead of the curve. In the beginning, founder Myron Wepfer used his agricultural background & pilot's license to bring buyers from outside of our market to experience the central Wisconsin farm.

That creativity and drive built a booming agricultural and residential real estate business. Myron & his wife Ellen capitalized on their success and in 1988 expanded the Abbotsford real estate company to the MidWisconsin Bank plaza in Medford.

As Myron & Ellen Wepfer considered retirement, they divided the company in two and in 1997, their son Duane would manage the Abbotsford location, while Dan Olson became the broker/owner in Medford, known as Dairyland Realty North.

Fully believing in the strength of real estate ownership, Dan and his daughter Kelly Kleist who had joined him in the family business, felt it was time for Dairyland Realty to own the office they were operating out of and in April of 1999, we opened our doors at 575 West Broadway in Medford, Wisconsin across from the Medford Aspirus Clinic.

In a constant effort to provide outstanding service, Dan and Kelly were looking for a way to add more value to their buyers & sellers. They found their answers in July of 2002 when they joined the Century 21 Real Estate family and the Central Wisconsin MLS. With the added support of a national marketing campaign, a robust technology platform and superior training, adding Century 21 to the Dairyland Realty name just made sense.

In 2013, to better help serve outside the Medford community, Century 21 Dairyland Realty returned to the Abbotsford market. After searching for the perfect location it became clear that partnering with Deb Wild of Uhaul would help increase the quality service for the Uhaul customer & provide Century 21 with the perfect place for us to serve our real estate consumer.

Kelly’s daughter, Carlie Rau joined the C21team in 2018 and became the third generation to work under one roof. Her marketing degree from UW Eau Claire brought an added focus to the Century 21 Dairyland Realty offices & we expanded our platform to include a user-friendly searchable website and a strong social media presence.
